An-Najah Global Health Institute (GHI) at An-Najah National University, in collaboration with Palestinian Child Institute (PCI), launched the “Every Moment Makes a Difference” campaign with an educational workshop titled “How Can We Ensure Healthy Development of Our Children’s Abilities? Early Steps Towards a Bright Future.“
The event was held at the Innovation Park on Thursday, 19 December, 2024, gathering parents, health professionals, and social workers to discuss early childhood development and the importance of early intervention for children under three years old showing signs of autism spectrum disorder.
The session began with interactive discussions on positive parenting, developmental milestones, and early intervention strategies. A real-life story was then shared by a parent of a child with autism spectrum disorder, providing inspiration and highlighting the impact of timely support. Participants also had the opportunity to engage in a Q&A session before the event concluded with an introduction to the An-Najah Global Health Institute.
This workshop marks the first of a series of monthly activities as part of the six-month campaign, aiming to raise awareness and provide specialized intervention programs. Future sessions will continue to focus on aspects of child development and include research studies to measure the effectiveness of the campaign.
The Global Health Institute remains committed to its role in improving child health, particularly in increasing public awareness about the benefits of early intervention.
